Crochet Hook Roll Up

Have you ever had a project or some fabric that you just had to have, and then you find it years later just sitting in a bag? Well that was this project. I just got my new Janome DC5100 sewing machine, and was looking around for something to play with, and I thought I'd finally make this.

I just love it, and it's so much better than my old store bought one!



Terracotta pot to cute trash collector for sewing scraps.

Whoever said,"Do one thing, and do it well", obviously wasn't a crafter. I'm always learning new and different crafts. My current obsession is quilting, and if you've ever sewn anything you know how much little trash, scraps, and clips of thread you get. Well one day I had a little terracotta pot sitting on my table, and I put some of these scraps in it. That's when the light bulb went off, and I thought what a cute little trash collector it would be, if I dressed it up.
 
 
 
 First I painted it.
 Paint at least two coats.

 

 

 

     I used some fabric, ric rack, and mod podge to dress it up a little bit. But, you can paint or glue on anything you want. Just have fun with it!
